In Windows 7 there are handy gadgets that can be used to help you get information at a glance. They run on your desktop and supply up-to-date information. They include things like weather, cool clocks, calendars and much more.
To access the gadgets all you have to do is right-click on an open area of your desktop. Next, select “Gadgets” and a new window will pop up with some built-in gadgets. Double-click any of the gadgets you want to try, and they will appear on your desktop.
You also can click the “Get more gadgets online” link at the bottom right, and it will direct you to a few more gadgets available at a Microsoft-supported site.
